The CFD Trading & Compliance Forum is a not-for-profit informal association, it was established to provide a platform for senior executives and compliance officers to share their views on the ever-changing regulatory environment that impacts the business needs of participants.

 

The UK CFD-sector has seen a plethora of regulatory changes over the last few years, with EMIR, CRD V and MiFID II to name a few, however the recent Consultation Paper issued by the Financial Conduct Authority in December 2016 direct implications on the functioning of the CFD trading environment, this forum aims to collate the view and thoughts of industry practitioners and present them to the authorities their collectively or individually, in a clear, detailed and well-structured manner.

The forum supports and welcomes regulatory changes that strengthen the operating environment, the forum merely acts as a discussion board to ensure the regulators receive detailed feedback.
